An example of the book helping me set culture in everything I do, was how I helped out a homeless person, when I felt that I needed helping myself. The principles of the book and how Tim travailed in his journey in setting precedent of venture, exploring new cultures such as his philanthropy in China and Mongolia to help those starving.

It reminded me that I had agency to budget and help out people within my means and that kindness is not just giving, but can be used as impetus for a greater purpose, and requisites level headedness to not get usurped- to save enough fuel for ourselves and to keep going on the journey. My day with this woman made me also realize that it takes a lot to usurp someone like me. I’ve always been so afraid of it, but I realized it’s not possible for people to because I have the means to provide for them. I didn’t compromise who I was. I was there for the homeless person as if it were me in that position and followed my heart to provide for her to get her everything she needed.

A little bit about me, I am the founder of V Ground Zero and a Deal Partner at Boardy Ventures. I consider myself mainly a founder, but I am a deal partner because I am one foot in venture.

Those in the valley perusing interesting deals and books, a fresh perspective from some girl living in Silicon Beach but sometimes tip toeing back to Techcrunch, and those looking to break into it.
